MAINTENANCE OF E-COATED STEEL FURNITURE
Daily maintenance
Spot clean any spillages immediately. Wipe with a clean cloth using warm soapy water – wring cloth tightly before wiping and dry thoroughly. Regularly dust seat and frame to avoid dust build up.
Tips to extend the life of your outdoor furniture
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the electroplated finish.
• Stay away from harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners as they might damage the electroplated surface. Opt for gentle cleaning solutions.
• Use a soft cloth or sponge for cleaning to prevent scratching or damaging the electroplating. Microfiber cloths work well for gentle cleaning.
After cleaning, ensure the chair is dried thoroughly to prevent water spots or residue from affecting the electroplating.
• If your furniture is kept outdoors, consider covering it during extreme weather conditions or when not in use to prevent prolonged exposure to harsh elements like direct sunlight, rain, or snow.
• Remember, while e-coated steel enhances the chair’s resistance to corrosion, proper care and maintenance will extend its lifespan and keep it looking great for longer.
